There’s so much more to do, and I keep thinking about this one thing: how will I promote thsi app?
This app isn’t about making money, but about doing something meaniful. I think it needs a different approach than regular advertising.
At first, I was planning to use social media once the app is ready. I’m defintely going to do this, and I think it will help gather more people who are interested in what we’re trying to do. But a few days ago, I suddenly got a new idea. I always liked drawing, and it was one of my favorite things to do. So I thought, what if I can connect this passion with this Volunteers Korea project? I could share stories of people we support, and turn them into comics in the form of short books. It would be a way to show others why this project matters, and give real voices to the people we’re helping.
Most people only interact within a small circle of others in their day-to-day lives. For me, it’s my family, classmates, and teachers. So when I see people on social media or TV, I notice how different their lives are from mine, and how small my own world is.
If we could share the stories of people in our society who need help – if we could help everyone understand their situation – I think that would be meaningful. If people today who are struggling and pressured can become writers and share their stories with the world, that in itself would be something powerful. I’m thinking this could become my second project.
My app is still in its design phase, and the organization hasn’t been fully launched yet either. But I’m sure that someday, all these pieces will come together, step by step.
