Time has gone by quickly.
A lot has happened since my last update.
The app has finally launched. It is now available on the App Store, and the Google Play version should be out in about two weeks.
These days, it may seem like anyone can build an app, but getting this one ready for release took much longer than I expected. There were times when I seriously thought about giving up, so seeing it finally launch feels particularly meaningful.
It seems there are more organizations interested in connecting with volunteers than I anticipated. The main challenge now is figuring out how to recruit enough volunteers.
The physics book is also almost done. To make the material easier to understand, I created a series of videos with my friends, who are also working with me on VolKo.
Right now, I am contacting potential schools and organizations one by one. Most of the schools I’m reaching out to are small and located in rural areas. I recently discovered that there are many schools outside major cities with fewer than ten students.
I also have a list of about 150 group homes, including the one where I currently volunteer. I plan to contact all of them during the school break.
I hope the book can give students who have limited access to science education or hands-on experiments a chance to enjoy physics, even briefly, and to discover something new.
