Our physics experiment booklet is currently being test-printed. I have been calling schools on remote islands and around 160 group homes to arrange its distribution. My friends and I have split the list among ourselves, and the responses so far have been positive.
The booklet includes 12 physics concepts and related experiments. However, when one of my friends called an island school, we received feedback that some of the concepts might be tough to understand through written explanations alone. To clarify the experiments, we filmed ourselves performing them and uploaded the videos to YouTube. Three of us each filmed four experiments.
QR codes linking to these videos will be included in the booklet so that students can watch the demonstrations while reading.
I hope to help improve the quality of education available to children living on remote islands and in group homes. I believe that equal access to educational opportunities is one of the foundations of a fair society.
